Slot machines, video machines, and even cash machines and and ATMs we passed by were out of service. We'd really like to have just gotten a burger somewhere, but that wasn't an option.Īnother big complaint was that several machines were broken. We chose the pizza place, and it was pleasant enough, but the poor girl working the register had to do that, fill sodas, gather pizzas out of the over and pack them up, and really seemed to be all on her own while the rest of the staff carried on loudly in the back, not offering to help her out at all as the lines piled up. Seems our choice was a sandwich shop or a pizza place. Our biggest complaint with the food court was lack of options open during a weekday. It took us a while to figure out the food court was downstairs. I do think the property could benefit from more signage. It was wonderfully deserted until around 3pm, then business starts picking up. We went in the middle of the day on a Thursday.
It was really impressive! Sure, it's small compared to other properties we visit, but it was clean and safe and overall had a very nice atmosphere! 95 dumps out right at the property, so we didn't have any issue with traffic or finding our way around town - although, the parking garage is a cluster of confusion. My partner and I spent our anniversary at Horseshoe, our first time here.
